It was such a beautiful day that I took my sewing box and went to set outside to finish that last quilt block. But, a hummingbird buzzed my head so I got up and refilled the feeders. There were several buzzing around chasing each other. I managed to get a couple of pictures. Then, I spotted a dove sitting way up in a tree and zoomed in on him. It's as big as I could make it without it going all fuzzy. I almost finished my quilt block, too. I just have to make some grass for Pooh to sit in while he is reading to Piglet. It's the last of nine for a quilt for dr's niece's baby. Pictures, now.

Lovely, lovely, lovely....
It is such a pleasure to see those birds.
It really was nice weather there, wasn't it?
Keep working on that quilt.

Great shots Dooley. Like the jewel-like colours of the hummingbird in piccie number two.

Really looking forward to seeing the quilt finished - I just know it's going to look slendid.

I especially like the green hummingbird. It looks like an emerald. Hmm, note to self: need to plant flowers that will attract more hummers. Thanks for the picts.

That is amazing. Surprised Petunia is right that colour is a beautiful shade of emerald green. Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.
