I received these pictures via E Mail, from a friend, they were supposedly taken near the Wisconsin Michigan UP Boarder, near the village of Marenisco , MI. and that may be so, I don't know anything more about them. At any rate to see two albino moose is amazing regardless of where they were taken, and worth posting. There is no snow, so they are not current.

What beautiful creatures Tom. I just hope their colour doesn't make them an easy target for preditors or hunters.

I'll say they are beautiful. I've never heard of albino moose. Now that was a 'shot' worth stopping for.

That is amazing. I forwarded those photos to my friends in Alaska who see moose all the time around their home. That's not too far from here. I wonder what their chances are for survival???

At the Norwegian/Swedish border near Magnor/Charlottenberg are white moose, and has been for years.

I looked in google to see if i coukld find an article stating exactly where they were taken. It led me to a snopes article. Snopes is a great site for finding if an email is true or not.
Heres the link, more pics too.

They are calling it 'partly true'

Beautful. In Louisiana some idiot would shoot them just to be able to say, "Look what I killed."

Showed my husband the pics and he said "cool." He had never seen any albino moose before. Aren't they a sight to see.

Wrennie the link didn't work for me but I'll try again later.
Calomaar: The noose were very interesting to see. Our news here just last week said that someone up by Drummond Island spotted a albino deer. From what I've heard albino's are not to be hunted because they are rare but am not sure on the white deer or moose.
