Hi everyone.
My annuals in the flowbed in front of the house wilted over the winter. I was wondering.. do I turn them into the soil or pull them up? Also, if I turn them in, will this be sufficient nutrition for plants this spring?
Thanks
P

Hi,
Annuals normally will die completely with the first freeze of the winter but if they are only wilted I would leave them alone and see if they perk up with warm weather. Some annuals will actually overwinter in mild winters and come to life for another growing year in spring.
