I've only been gardening for a couple years. My garden went in the spring of 2003, but I had a landscaper deal with it because I had just had my second child. I had him leave room for me to add to it and over the last couple years I have, but now it's quite filled in. I need to move and split many of my plants.

That's why I can't wait till spring. We did some major landscaping last summer and now I have a whole new area to fill in with blooms.

I've never attempted a vegetable garden, although at some point I may...it won't be this year. I've got lots of flowers and love to cut them to put in my house.

I've been reading the forums here the last couple days and can't wait to ask and get advice from all of you. You all seem so knowledgeable and I'm still such an amateur. I look forward to meeting you all.

Hi, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. I guess you have a longer wait for spring than I do even tho winter has tried to pull a return on us this week.

We would love to see pictures of your garden and future garden.

I live in Southern Maine also, we are having a tough winter. I just returned home from the flower show in Portland. The theme was urban retreat and they had some amazing displays.
Do you go to the show?

Hey diene, I have been to the flower show in the past, but didn't make it this year. Sounds like I missed a good one. It's good to meet you, sounds like we'll have some chatting to do.

It has been a tough winter. I'm really, really looking forward to spring this year. I have a whole new space for a new garden and am very excited to get working on it.

Keep an eye out, all of you, as I'll need all the advice I can get. Have a great day.
