I got a new feeder because the squirrels destroyed my other ones. I have only seen two little birds at the new feeder. And a couple of lazy doves looking for left overs. Do birds find food from other sources this time of the year? I know my questions sound so stupid. Sorry ... Wink

Sometimes it takes time for birds to find a new feeder. When did your old one break? Is the new one in the same spot? They will find it, especially if one or two already have. dooley

Yep, it does take them a while to find a feeder. If I am away and can't fill it for a couple of days it can take 2-3 days for the birds to come back.

Also, make sure there are no stray cats hanging around your yard or next door, that will keep them away.

If you already have a few birds at the new feeder, more will follow. I had the same thing happen and it didn't take long before the birds were back. I missed them!
