The daffodils were coated with ice this morning and looking very disgruntled. dr took a picture after the sun was on them for a bit. They are looking much better. The apricot blossoms are looking okay for now. Maybe they will be okay, too. I really hope this is the last of the ice and snow.

Those daffs look pretty, don't they? In spite of the ice, it looks like spring is on it's way there.
I did some work in the garden today and had sleet showere off and on all day. It was cold, windy and gray, but the work had to be done.
Thanks for showing those beauties, Dooley.

The earlies usually manages alright despite some frost and snow. Guess they've got built-in de-freeze or something. Your daffs are beautiful. Mine are snowed under.

dr took these pictures and I posted them here. Then, we went out to the post office. Coming home, we had a repeat of yesterdays weather starting. Snow showers, sun, rain, snow and now it's just gray. Yuck! dooley

Great photographs. Daffodils always make me smile as they are such cheery flowers to have in your garden.

I can't wait for mine to bloom. Half of my large flower bed is still snow covered...thanks for sharing, very pretty. I love the bright yellow, but I plant different ones too...
