Hi all, I was given a very sad looking African Violet by my son for mothers day 2 years ago. With a ton of TLC it has become a monster. I want to trim it down abit and also give my neighbours some lovely plants. I successfully cut off 4 healthy leaves and have managaed to root and plant them. However they are still just one leaf. Do I need to plant several in one pot? Or do they eventually produce more? They have been planted now for 3 months.

I would really appreciate your advice.

Just put one leaf in soil in each pot. You will eventually see more leaves . . . Afican violets are so fun to start and grow this way! They like the morning sun, or fluorescent light. This will help they to thrive, grow, and bloom. Stew Face 2
