Hi Everyone..my first post...want to say Hi and let you know a little about me...have been a nursery manager here in Va for past 21 years..in my spare time I help two ladies out in there gardens as they physically can't..have no garden of my own as I live in an apt..but do containers on patio..interested in reading about problems that people have with their plants to see if they correllate to ones we encounter...enjoy all posts..hope to get involved insome discussions

Hi everyone..Thanks for the warm welcome..Glad to be here...I'm in Virginia..about 3 miles from the ocean front..today it's going to be 75 and sunny..great day for gardening...I am in a bowling league on Thursday and today we are celebrating the 95th birthday of one of our team members..I made a container of this lady's favorite flowers for her gift..she loves wax leaf begonias...have a question..has anyone had a fungal problem on their Ligustrums?..we are seeing it here for the first time ever.. as to what I do for fun..I bowl..read all kinds of books...I'm a baseball fanatic..and am currently working on the family genealogy..have three kids and two cats and spent 6 years in the Navy as an electronics Tech..but my first love is horticulture..enough for now guys
