HI group, I foster dogs, so I have a lot of traffic on my back yard grass. I hate how bare it is. Is there any grass that can withstand all that traffic and still grow well?

I've heard that Agway Wear Green Grass is a good one for a lawn that is heavily used. I think Bermuda Grass may also be hard wearing. Have a look on the web and see what it says about them though as I'm not sure how well they would do in your area.

Thanks I will look that up. Do you have any clue as to how to get the grass to grow while still having the dogs in the yard? LOL I know kind of silly, but we have no where else for them to go. Hence the reason we are in this boat in the first place. Can it grow even with them treading on it? Or I could put a fence around it and hope they don't try and get in.

I think you'd have to give it time to establish itself before the dogs were allowed on it. You could always do it in sections if that would be easier for you - not so much fencing to cope with either. Wink
