I have my veggies growing nicely, but had a question. I heard once or twice that to help the plant grow once its started sprouting to pinch the baby leaves off? Is this true? Thanks! (:

Yes it is Star and I do it all the time to stop my plants getting 'leggy.' It allows your plants to put out more side shots which makes them much bushier than before and not quite so tall. Stew Face 2

Yup, makes them bushier and stronger that way - though I know I still apologize to them when I do it!

i went ahead and pinched all my veggies and flower baby leaves. They seem to be doing okay. Only issue with my cucumbers is the leaves that are growing are curling under slightly. Not sure why.
