These are a couple pictures of the small front yard.
and one of the side yard.
and one of the apricot tree
and one of the only vegetable that I have as yet.
There are twelve spears coming up in various sizes. The new plants from last year are either slow or not coming back. Only one is up so far. dooley

I am fascinated by that odd little thing... that thermometer reading 80 degrees! Surely exotic indeed!
The spears of asparagus are funky looking, and I love that shot of the apricot!

That's strange. I hadn't noticed the thermometer hanging there. I guess I'm used to it being there. It is a very large one that I can read from inside the house. It was indeed a very beautiful sunny and warm day today. I still wore my sweatshirt though. I tried not to stay out too long because of my allergies but still had to take a pill tonight. dooley

If that's your small yard, what does your big one look like? Lovely flowers, and I like the look of your asparagus. I hope the rest of them will show too.

Absolutely lovely fotos... what a variety you have there.
Your tulips seem to be doing well too.
How nice to see everything.
I can almost taste that asparagus.
Thank you for showing these great fotos.

Such a nice yard...we tried growing asparagus at our other home and no luck so we gave up after a couple years...I think the critters ate it...

We just planted that row of asparagus roots last year so we wouldn't be able to use them this year but I hope they will still come up for next year. I actually have the two little areas in the front, two side yards, a storage area where all the junk sets, a big back yard, a little back yard, a garden and a lower back yard. Most of it is a mess right now because I hurt my knee last year and neglected it big time. Plus the drought and the grasshoppers didn't do me any favors. I'm working on it little by little this year. dooley
