Now that the snow is gone, the creatures are heading out to the fields to eat. There was a group of 8 just beyond my yard. As soon as they heard a noise, they trotted off in single file!

They are so sweet, but I wouldn't want them in my yard anyway. I like that orderly retreat file.

So far they have been happy out in the fields. I guess they are happy with clover and alfalfa (I'm touching wood here...if they get into MY yard I'll be in trouble!!)

Hi Netty. We have deer all over up here. MY husband even seen one in our driveway one nite about 1:00 in the morning. We have a gentlemen on the other side of the mill pond here that has been feeding them. They've been too fast for me to get a picture of them.

I love deer (of course, my garden is fenced, so I can afford to!)

Nice pics!

Nice piccies of these tawny raiders. They look like majestic creatures, don't they?
Well, let's hope that they stay out of your yard and away from your trees--or else they will be the raiders of the lost bark.
