|
I have a link to a very popular tv show here in Norway called "Ut i Naturen" out in nature. The reason I really wanted to post this is because the show is based on the Uniqueness of Norway. How different our country is from the rest of the world, with the fjørds and the homes and farms wayyyy up in the mountains. The tour starts just south of where our fellow Stewer Droopy lives and ends where I live in Lofoten. All the flowers you will see in the Lofoten part are flowers I have on the farm,,, plus more.
I'm sorry I can't do anything about the language part of the show, but just watch the beauty of Norway, all the nature, plants, waterfalls, mountains, sea and fjørds.
Welcome to my country! Norway..

Amanda and I are about to go to the grocery store so I can't start watching it yet. I am looking forward to seeing it.

I also watched it all the way through. I just loved all the water falls. It would so much fun to be in boat along side the falls. Your country land is so pretty.

I think I am in love with Norway, the scenery is gorgeous. What music is that playing in the background, it's beautiful.
I would like a cabin on that mountain across from the huge waterfall. Wouldn't that be a wonderful sight to wake up to everyday.
Yea, I guess what we call hills are more like lumps in the ground compared to your hills and mountains.

I'm glad you all like that show. I try to catch that each week, but most of the time its when i'm cooking dinner. But since i had a late lunch at a friends house, and KB grabbed some sandwiches when he got home, we ate later than usual. So i got to see the whole show.

Toni, that huge waterfall is one of many further into the fjord outside my window. The access to the fjord bottom is some very windy roads. Lots of big cruise ships visit every summer.
I think it unfair that all the photography was done in sunshine. It's only like that for part of the summer.
The music was Memory Blue by Andreas Ljones Band. They're not on YouTube, imagine that!

Beautiful scenery and I love the language (could listen to them talk for hours!). It looks like there are many "untouched areas" in Norway, and it must be great to live there (as long as you can survive the winter). We woke up to 4" of snow on the ground this morning...enough already!!! I've put Norway on my list of places to visit before I die thanks to all of your posts.

Thank you droopy for answering toni's question,, things kind of go over my head in the mornings,,,lol.
theres little over 4.5 million people in the whole country, so its deffinately not over populated. Lots of untouched country, and norwegians love their nature and want to keep it that way.
Ohh geeez Kasey,,,4 more inches of snow! dang i live in the Artic and its almost melted here. still lots of ice and the fjørd is frozen out front, but dang at least we haven't got more snow... but then this is the Artic,,lol. could snow anytime.
