Years and years ago, and I mean at least 15, my dad, who was a bit of a scavenger, spotted this gorgeous lady in a skip whilst he was out on his milk round. She came home to me. She is plastic and hollow and looked like she should have been holding a table or something, but the top was broken, so I filled her with some gravel and crocks, then topped her up with compost and planted this sedum in her. She has had a full head of hair ever since.

EJ, I don't know how but I totally missed this post back in April. She is a great addition to the garden, I really like her.

There must have been several of us a sleep back in April. That is the most clever idea I have seen in a looonnng time! Very creative EJ.

Thanks guys. I have no idea what she once was, but she does look lovely in the garden, especially in the winter when the perennials have all died down so she really stands out. The good thing with the sedum is it doesn't mind getting very dry where I think ivy would die. Glad you like her.
