Our snow seems to have left us (for the time being)but we now have hail instead. I don't think winter wants to leave us quite yet somehow. Sad

We had the same thing last weekend. Had been gorgeous all week and even Saturday was bright and warm, then we woke up Sunday morning to several inches of snow! YUCK! I am longing for the warm.

My heart goes out to you NYG, I'm in Southern Maine and I was thinking myself that winter was never going to end. Fortunately for me we haven't been hit in a while, knock on wood. Hang in there...I got my first bloom this past week. Yours is coming.

You know, I don't think there's enough money on this earth to make me live somewhere, where it snows regularly. I hate the stuff, because it's wet & cold - two of my least-favorite things. I see the usefulness of it, bringing water to the earth and insulating from the frigid air and providing drinking water for the Summer. But I don't want to live in it! I feel for y'all up North, but I know, our hot Summers (not humid in West Texas) are something y'all may wish to avoid. I should've taken a picture of the huge sandstorm we had last week. It was nasty! The dust storms alone keep lots of folks out of this area.

I'm not fond of snow either. The little we get here is more than enough for me. We moved from Wisconsin and I shoveled more than my share in this lifetime. It's someone else's turn. I only like snow in pictures now. dooley

It's pretty, even though it's cold. I miss the snow in snowless winters, but come April I'd rather be without it. We will probably get more snow here, but it won't last.
