Does anyone know about four o'clock seeds? They were given to me by a co-worker to plant for the kids here. We did plant them but I'm wondering if since they are so hard do they need to be stratified or scarified? Am I saying that right? I think so. Hehehehe
Anyway, Sure would appreciate any comments or advise!
Marsha

Some say soak them for 24 hours, nick them with a nailclipper and some say just stick them in the ground. If you have some seeds unplanted, try the nicking and soaking then plant them and see which way works best.

Also, you mentioned growing them for kids. Please remember that the seeds and parts of the plants are poisonous if ingested.

Thanks for the tip toni. I did not know they were poisonous. These kids are older, hopefully none of them would eat any. Ya never know tho! Sure appreciate the heads up!
