I have these growing EVERYWHERE in clumps. This particular one is growing down in "the pit" which is the farthest reaches of my backyard, down a hill, where all the yard waste is dumped. There was a ton of old building materials and other junk back there that we just hauled out and these are all over the place!

Again, maybe just weeds, but the way they're grouped together it almost looks like someone put them there, not like they just grew wild.

Looks like daylillies to me. Hemerocallis. Lovely clump forming plant with glorious trumpet like flowers which only last a day, but they come en masse so it isn't a problem, and they are edible.....if that is your thing.

Yes, that's daylily which would make sense in a dumping area, it probably took over somewhere else and got dug up & moved! Should be fun to see what color it is!
