Spring must really be here becuase I noticed today all of our goldfish and orf were up at the surface, so I threw in a small handful of pellets. Seconds later, feeding frenzy over, I threw in another handful. I did chuck in a few pellets about 10 days ago, but no interest. Things must be warming up!

Good to know that your fish have survived the winter and are back to feeding EJ. I'm still waiting for the weather to improve here. Sad

We moved our fish back outside to our small pond and they won't eat. So this is normal?

Netty: You had pond fish and took them in during the winter?? Do you have ab aerator or pond pump in your pond?

OUr pond fish stay outside all year round, they just congregate at the very bottom of the pond in amongst the baskets and gunge. As we have had some very sunny and warm days, not many but some, they have come up to the surface, that is what prompted me to feed them.

Petunia - we put our goldfish outside for the summer. We have a small pond but it is bigger than their tank and they love it out there! We've been doing this for years but have never really worried when they didn't eat.
