|
Thanks to Petunia I have discovered a awesome way of starting veggie and herb seeds...the baggy method is fabulous. I had started my seeds on 4/5/08 and I now have sprouts coming out of everywhere...I am starting to run out of room in my window seat...
I have various types of tomatoes, peppers and herbs getting ready to be planting outside next month, here are some photos...
I am so proud, this is only the second year that I have been able to do a veggie garden since growing up, I am so excited, I can't wait to see what I get this year as far as a crop goes...

Thumbs up to a job well done.
May I give you the next inform advice? You said, you wouldn't be putting them in the garden till next month? If you had some individual pots or you could even use cups because it looks like now these tomatoes need new homes much before next month. 1 tomato plant per pot or even a cup is what I would do next. I know you have alit of plants there, but right now I think they will be running out of root room and you will end up losing some and I don't think you want that. I know what your going through as far as running out of room. Look back at my blog site-( http://www.gardenstew.com/blog/e469-5-my-inside-garden-awaits-their-new-home-outside.html )
Now I have added cucs, zucchini, peppers, acorn squash, broccoli, & cauliflower-add those to what I already have on my shelves. I have completely run out of room. I'm just hoping that my greenhouse temps, at nite, warm up enough soon.
I really wish I could be there to help you, I'm so excited for you. You've done a superb job.

Good Job! You will have to thin them out and transplant soon though. If you put 2-3 seedlings in each of those cups, they can stay a while in there.
I usually start 3-4 seeds per cup or yogurt container.
