I have one grape vine that the ants eat every year. How can I get rid of these ants without harming the grapes which we will eat?

I hate ants. There are some chemical pesticides that work well and wont kill your vine. My ants seem to live to eat my ankles. Good luck!

Amdro is good, its a bait though. You will need to put it out early in the morning before the ants come out to forage. Don't put it directly on the mound but around the perimeter an out just a bit. The ants will come out to feed, an take it back to feed the queen an the mound will die. With a bait you will need to be patient though cuz its not one of those 24 hr kill type chemicals. If you don't want to go that route, your local farm supply or box store will have several ant killers to choose from.
