We moved into this house last summer, and there are several trees that I can't identify here.
This one looks like a Bradford pear to me (however I'm no expert!) but I thought they didn't produce fruit. I live in NC and it's just started to get consistently warm and these are already growing on the tree:
Also, during the spring, when it blossomed, the blossoms were white, if that helps.
Then there are these two trees. The blossoms are white and they remind me of apple trees (but again, I'm NOT an expert)
Then lastly, this tree. It looks like plums that are growing on it, but I don't know.
Now, no one has to go crazy giving me the specific name of the tree 
I'd just like to know if my hunches are correct, and if the fruit is edible. Especially on that pear tree.
This is my first year being out of an apartment for over 6 years, so I'm SO excited about gardening and growing stuff!

Tree number two is definately an apple tree. If tree three is a plum tree its leaves are very different from ours, and I've never had a pear tree, so I hope other stewbies can help with those.

The last few shots do look like a member of the plum family to me, could be gages.
I thought at first glance the first shots were of a medlar, but I don't know if you grow that in the States. It could well be a pear, but the fruitlets are very round.

I think the first are pears as they look like our babies.
