I am not sure what they are but they were to pretty to resist.
Some of the herbs I purchased. A little ridiculous becauseI have seedlings started but I justified it to myself this way- I can cook with these now.
And the final purchase- I was looking for datura but settled for whatever this is..
Thanks again to everyone who offered advice on how to get my pictures uploaded with such a slow connection.

Adorable blooms and colours. Your herbs are very tempting-looking. I've no idea what you've got there, but it's all lovely.

I believe your tall purple one is a Mexican Petunia
Ruellia brittoniana I have them in my front yard.
There is a white one available too, so your white could be a Mexican Petunia too but the distinct vein down the leaves makes me wonder.
And the tall yellow one in the last picture looks just like the Carolina Jessamine I have in the backyard. They are usually a vine, but I did see some at a local store that had been trained to a tree form like yours.

I think the yellow-blooming plant may be Esperanza.

I was going to say that it didn't look like any Carolina Jasmine that I have had! Pretty whatever it is. I agree. that they were too good to pass up.

The leaves are very similar to mine the petals on the Jessamine are pointier but I thought maybe that was a different cultivar of the Jessamine.
I think I will have to plant an Esperanza this year since they are Texas Natives

I knew about the Mexican Petunia in purple but I did not know there is a white one. I must find the white one.

Thank you for your help in identifying my new plants. Toni, your link was great, now I know how to care for my eperanza. It also helped me find other plants that should do well here.
