Phew. it was a hot one today. However it did not hinder any of the gardeners in the area from coming out and supporting our efforts.I signed the roster for sale help to start at 10, I arrived at 9:45 and most of the plants had already been sold. We had two large double garage buildings full of plants and they were reduced to 6 tables. People were in line 30 minuets before we opened at 8, Great day of fun and new friends made, lots of plants found new homes.

Club sale Saturday 5/22

Category: Central Bloomers Garden Club | Posted: Fri May 21, 2010 9:28 pm

Not for profit sale of plants that our club members have potted up from our own gardens. Hundreds of plants at really good prices.
We in turn donate the money made into the local school;for garden projects, library;for gardening books, also Habitat for Humanity; for landscapes around the home. Other projects that beautify and educate the Central area public. If you are in the Baton Rouge area look for our ad in the news paper classisfied section.
Will post pics as soon as our scrapbook photographer sends them to me.
