Well, mart, I found some photos of horses that our farm has produced.

These are just some babies in the field. We are horse breeders. My girlfriend is the manager of our rather small thoroughbred operation.

We won the lottery in 2001. Our farm produced Monarchos who won the Kentucky Derby that year.

My parents own the farm, Two Bucks, and I do maintenance of farm machinery (tractors) and other odd jobs that need tending to. I am the least knowledgeable person about horses on the farm, but living on a horse farm is a privilege.

Taking care of any animal is rewarding. In my experience with horses however, most of the time I prefer the disposition of the cats to the horses.

Your parents have some great looking horses on the farm and I hope they go on to win many more races for you all.

Oh Excellent !! I used to follow the pojected Derby horses. But haven't had time in years to keep up with it. Mostly a Quarter Horse person personally but love them all !! I have owned since I was 10 years old and broke trained for years. Too old now to do the major stuff but still train my own,,just don`t do the first rides anymore !! I don`t bounce like I used to !!

I've lived around horses for many years. We've had all types including Paints. I can count on one hand the number of times I've ridden them though. When you have horses you usually live around a lot of land. I like the country.

Good to hear from you Carol Ann. It's great to hear about other people with unique and positive experiences with horses. Living on a horse farm for me has been really terrific.
