welcome to my blog

Category: Hello | Posted: Thu Jan 18, 2007 4:50 pm

Hello
My name is Brenda. I live in Wisconsin. Just bought my first home. It has a huge yard, the previous owners just left it totally empty, except for a few apple trees. I can't wait until spring to start filling it up with flowers! Also we tilled a area to start a garden to fill with veggies. It will be interesting to see how everything works out. Alot of hard work but I love playing in the dirt! Any excuse to be outside is a good one.
I'll tell you a little about myself
I am 28 years old. I work at a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I plan on finishing school to be a nurse next year hopefully. I have a boyfriend of 7 years. Plan on getting married and having kids soon. Just trying to save a little money up for that. I like being outside. Planting flower and veggies, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking are some of my interests. I love animals. I have two cats-kitty and Rascal. Hope to get a dog this spring.
Can't think of any more to tell you, I am glad I found this site I think it is really neat and fun. hope to meet some of you.

I lived in Wisconsin until 1989. I did gardening there, too. I think it was easier there because we didn't have extreme heat and a lack of water. But, I garden here anyway. I have a son in Wisconsin. He only has a small garden. I think mostly for the boys. Dooley

Hi there Brenda from Scotland. Looks as though you're going to fit in here just fine and if you ever need any advice just ask. What kind of niursing are you hoping to do? We could do with a psychiatric nurse here for some of our memebers!!!! LOL

Seems you have a lot of fun things going on. You can write a blog on each, it will be a treat to read them. "Planting flowers and veggies, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking".
That must be a good life!
