Natural fertilizers?
Category: Are there any natural ways to fertilize houseplants? | Posted: Mon Jan 22, 2007 2:26 am I was wondering if anyone knows of natural ways to fertilize houseplants. Neither coffee grounds nor eggshells should leave an odor. If you like you can put them in a blender with some water and use it as a tea.
I don't have any houseplants, but I would think that even if coffee grounds and egg shells did have an odor it would be better than the chemical fertilizers. Let them dry before you use them, less chance of them creating an odor that way.
I use cold tea as a fertilizer for my house plants and they seem to thrive on it. It leaves no odour behind and is certainly cheap and effective.
