I have gone all over the mtns of nc looking for river rocks to put in and around my flower beds they are either too far down or it is illegal to take them I got a few yesterday but not what I really wanted so sad I wanted some nice round ones to paint on and put in my garden I did get a rhodendron to put in my flower bed and some plant I have no idea what it is but the leaves were pretty so brought a cutting home and planted it last night will try to get pics of them today also the night before last I planted all 3 of my knockout roses and my dish plate hibiscus and have finally gotten most of my flower beds weeded they are looking nice been having to wait till evening because of the heat my snake gourds are blooming like crazy but so far no little gourds are showing yet gotta get my wooden gnomes painted and put out in the yard hope to make a gnome garden next year thats it from here hope all has a green thumb day

Sounds like you have been very busy. I am having the same problem with rocks. All of your flowers sound lovely. What color are your hibiscus?

I'm in NC too! I just signed up here and cannot load my pics. Too large. Having a time resizing them. No Help screens. Tutorial is no help. If you can help, I'd enjoy hearing from you so I can share my garden. Robin in NC (bostoncrocus at yahoo)
