Hail

Category: garden | Posted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 10:16 pm

We got most of our work done today. I got the bed amended, planted the tomatoes. Husband put up the iron trellis, and it all looked great. Then about 9p.m., it hailed. Marble size hail about 10-15 min. Plants look okay, thought about throwing my body over them, but just a thought. This is living in West Texas/south plains.

So pleased to hear that your plants seem to have survived the hail shower. Let's hope there's no more coming your way.

This time of year here, it's hail, wind, or tornadoes. I can live with the first two. West of here 3 nights ago, they got grapefruit size hail. Thank god we did not.
