Category: Life in Western PA | Posted: Thu Mar 08, 2007 3:49 am

Well, it snowed here today, 2 1/2 inches. I hope it was the last for this winter....
They say the tempature is going to reach 50 on Saturday, so atleast it wont last long. I am so anxious for Spring to get here.

We haven't had snow in March since 1989, I think.
Down here you can't really go by the calender for when spring arrives. Sometimes it is in January and sometimes as late as mid-March.
50 degrees sounds like spring to me, hope you can get out in the garden and enjoy it.

I do hope your spring is getting ready to come .I know you are so tired of
snow. Our trucks go to Princeton,Pa about twice a week and the drivers are tired of snow.

I could have done with MORE snow here in Scotland. We only had one fall that lay for a day - very unusual.

Spring seems to have definately arrived here as all my bulbs have started to flower - hope it reaches you soon.

I can sympathize with you - I am ready for the snow to be gone. No fresh snow today but there are several inches on the ground that are not melting fast enough for me.
