Winter type day AGAIN!!!

Well we got about 4 more inches of snow between yesterday and this morning. I really hope that is the last of it this year...LOL
I was so happy this morning.....my dry flowers I started inside are sprouting, this is the first year in a long time I have started my own flowers and veggies and it makes me feel good to see them growing...atleast looking at all the flats and pots I have seeded, makes me think SPRING ...even if it doesn't look that way outside.
I found a small field of daffodils growing on a empty lot the other day, and asked the owner of the property if I could dig them up...and he said YES...will have lots of them next spring, thinking I will put a row the whole way across the edge of my yard next to the woods with them. The lot used to have a old cabin on it and is back on a dirt road, when I said I wanted to dig them, the owner said "Go ahead, someone might as well enjoy them." And believe me I will....

We were supposed to get some snow last night, but it missed us here. Hopefully it will melt off quickly for you.

Sorry about the snow, but at least you got some freebies.
There is a place we go past on the way to work that has old fashioned gladioli, paperwhites, and red spider lilies, by the hundreds. I would love to find out who owns it and ask for some.
