Got a call this morning,,from my brother. Dad went into the hospital yesterday ,he was dehydrated.Mom never called me! Neither did my sis kelly. I get a call from my brother in New.Hampshire that dads in the hospital..(shock)....many feelings going thru my mind,thats already working over time!

Hours later my brother calls,dads at home(MOMS HOUSE).Dad doesnt want to go back to the nursing home.But kelly and mom will take him back later on , after a good meal etc...
Me and Ron get into it,(not good)...over me being so far away and him feeling he has to sell or else and he's not going to do it!
As i said before,im not wanting him to feel like he does,BUT!!!.
Venting again, just keeping ya updated,lol..tears...

Sorry to hear about your Dad Kat, but glad to hear he was released from hospital and is OK. I know it's hard to be far away from family, especially when something like this happens.
I hope you don't do anything without thinking long and hard about what you want to do. We'll be here to listen to your venting.

Kat, someone I once knew said you have to ask, Am I better off with him, or better off without him. I have always said as long as the good times out weigh the bad it's going to be ok.
Is there anyway you could possibly just go and spend a week or so with your parents, till the crisis is over with your Dad. See how the situation is there, how he is handling the nursing home etc.
