They finally got smart! Yes today while shopping at walmart in Blue Springs,Missouri,they were having a 50% off clearance sale "on their plants"...While i was outside going through their plant racks, the big bosses came outside.They were amazed by the quantity of women buying their reduced hanging baskets etc.
I SAID TO THEM , "YOU FINALLY GOT SMART!" They agreed with me,said "they figured it out finally!"
I told them of my dumpster diving years ago,and saving over 200.00 in geraniums,that they'd thrown away,that was in their Piedmont store though.
Any ways, i bought several hanging baskets for a little over 3.00 a piece, i was tickled!!

The other day at another walmart store (Oakgrove,MO}
they were throwing away cabbage plants in there trash buckets, thats was depressing to me, thinking of all that waste. I hope that today was a new start for all walmart stores.
Why wasnt that food(plants ) donated to churches to feed the poor,or some place where it could do good?
Listen up walmart and all other garden centers,you too will be judged...Feed our hungry,first! That will help your wallets in the long run when you gain the people's respect again! Even Sam might roll over in his grave .....and say "Its about time!".

Our Walmart are having the 50% off sales on their plants now also. Your right is about time. Our Walmart is depressing to look at their plants they do not take care of them at all they usually look very sick.
