When your in your garden,is it the flowers or the little accents in the garden, maybe your little sitting area ,or its just the whole thing. Right now the weather is blah , and i cant get out , plus im sick , another blah. Its gonna be lousy till next week. Im gonna write about something different. my favorite car. When i was 18, i got my 1st car. I was married had 1 kid and pregnant with the 2nd . One christmas, i got my 1st car . It was a 67 mustang fastback, bought for 350.00,and then a motor and transmition was to be bought for it. I loved that old car, took it every where. Ive had 2 other mustangs since . I love being out in my garden really early (before the kids get up) listening to the birds sing and soaking in the sounds of nature. I love the peace. A freshly opened bloom makes me smile :)
What makes me happy. I love it when we are doing a good Bible study with our little group of ladies. I think that is when I am happiest. 2nd happiest, my 1.81 acres of land. I feel really close to God when I am in my garden, whether I am watering, planting, planing or weeding. If it were up to me the only time I would leave my place would be to go to church and to buy plants and look for stuff for my yard.
Oh Netty,i so relate.I love being out early too to hear the birds and drink my coffee just admire all thats going on.
I love first thing in the morning outside. The dew is out, the air is still and the day is full of promise. All my plants get a visit, art pieces never fail to please me, critters get fed, coffee gets cold as I wander away to get up close and personal with a butterfly.
I get up get my coffee first then I wonder arond looking and listening at all the sounds.I think I'm closer to God at this time than any other.I love to see new blooms and how much changed ouer night.Listen to the birds and judt visit each plant.
