This is my cat Boots, he loves to play with the phone and I almost believe that he could hold a conversation!
He is not allowed to go outside as there are too many rodents around the farm, so he sits at the window and watches the birds , his tail switches from side to side and I know he is thinking " just let me out there!"

He opened my bottom kitchen cupboards and tried to get in , telling me that some mice were around . I promptly cleared them out and sure enough, there was traces of mice. So Boots got a gold star!!

Most cats I know get the mice

and lay them at your feet to tell you. See Mo ma what I caught for you.

I guess your cat has the life of Riley and lets you catch the mice. He then tells everyone on the phone.
