Garden composting

Category: Country Living | Posted: Thu Apr 17, 2014 7:27 pm

I often get asked this question" How soon can I plant vegetables after putting kitchen scraps in my garden?"
The best way to compost directly into your garden, is to dig a one foot deep trench down the centre of the bed
and each time you put scraps into it cover with 2-4 inches of soil. Vegetables can be planted over the filled-in area at any time.
