Too much wine

Category: Life | Posted: Fri Jun 15, 2007 7:46 am

I`m suffering this morning .... totally self inflicted, so i only have myself to blame. I went out with some girlfriends last night (thurs) for a meal and a chat, and of course the wine flowed .... like it does....

anyway i`ll suffer in silence : ) The birds, no sign of the cockatiel yesterday and the starling had gone when i checked the next day, thankfully as we had a cat in the garden. I am a cat lover but a bird lover first, I have a spray bottle filled with water in the garden, the cats don`t seem to like that. xxx

By the way i have my new walking boots on for the first time, going to keep them on all morning. The weather up north is terrible at the moment, can i see myself pitching a tent in the rain ????

Hope the hangover clears quickly for you Daff!!! It's something I've never experienced, thankfully, as I'm T. total.

The weather may clear yet for your trip so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you get to wear those new boots while pitching your tent.

I wonder what happened to the cockatiel? Let's hope it's still alive and doing well.

Hope those boots break in quick for you. I wore a new pair on a recovery and wound up hiking out of the woods barefoot, which would have been no problem at all except that I was behind the pack horse!!

Touch wood ... I usually have no problems with footwear. We`ll be setting off about 5ish Sunday morning.

I`ve done the barefoot bit critterpainter and slid for some distance on my backside : )

I wish that i could be T- total eileen .... well ... sometimes : )

still now sign of the cockatiel. xxx

Absolutely LOVE the dancing cat and I can see he loves his wine too!

I'm a cat and bird lover...equally and it is a constant inner battle. I have a stray that I feed, mainly to keep her from wanting to eat birds...if I even see her looking at them the wrong way I run out and scold her. She must think I am insane.

Hope the cockatiel's alright...maybe he went home...
