Getting old
Category: Life | Posted: Sun Jun 10, 2007 8:27 pm not long been home from work, I feel absolutely shattered, I`m getting too old for work, all my joints are aching. People expect a lot at times .... Ah well just got mon,wed,thurs and sat to do then i`ll be off, but will i feel any better after climbing Scafell Pike,The Old Man of Coniston, or any other one that my other half chooses to climb I`ve already done Helvellyn and Striding Edge Walk, so don`t think we`ll be doing that again. Shoot, I would feel a lot older doing all that walking I think. But then I have not held a job outside the home for 18 years so even working for a living would be hard on these old bones, knees and nerves.
You can be sure that i`ll be taking my camera toni, you`ll be fed up with my pictures by the time that i`ve done : ) xxx
Those sound like wonderful places! I live in an area with alot of hiking too, if you like I can get you the info, lol! Of course, the peaks around here have snow on top most of the year. And cougars & bears. Or the tops blow off (our active volcano)!
