Nov. 6th - Craft Show

Category: Daily life. | Posted: Mon Nov 07, 2005 1:28 am

The American Legion post that I belong to had a craft show on saturday and it went really well. We had all 48 booths rented and the people came ready to buy. Most of the crafts were Christmas oriented. The most popular booth was the one selling home made fudge. They had several different kinds and had platters of samples set out so you could taste the kind you wanted to buy. They said they sold over $400 worth of fudge!
The doors opened at 9 am and let the shopping begin!

We had two rooms of booths and there was a steady flow of people coming through both rooms.

The vendors were happy and the Legion made about $1200 for our community projects. The customers were happy as they got some nice stuff for themselves or to give away as Christmas gifts.

$400 worth of fudge, that's a lot of fudge!

Looks very busy Capt, I just knew it would be a success. For the next one I will print you up a few GardenStew.com t-shirts so you can sell them :) (hehe only joking)

A craft show or similar is always a win-win situation, the community makes a bit of cash and people get to buy nice things. If only all things in life were so simple!
