Nov. 11 Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day here in the US and I went to a program at the local Middle School. This first pic is of the approximately 30 or so veterans that attended the program.


This next pic is of some of the students that were honoring the vets.


And this last pic is of the band that was really great with the patriotic music.

Just speeches! The band played some rousing military style music and of course the National Anthem. Was really a nice program. Every vet was named and gien a certificate of appreciation. The vets who had children, grandchildren and there was even a gret grand father had their certificates given to them by their family member. Very touching.
