We were getting some light snow showers this morning and now the wind is at about 20 mph out of the north east. It's blowing so hard that the birds can hardly hang on to the feeder. Even Chunk hasn't been up to eat. The temp is about 26 deg. F. but with the wind it feels much colder than that.

I live in Northwest Ohio and it is doing the same thing here or it was. Now it is just really cold and I ended up having to take my bird feeder down because it was blowing it so hard that it almost fell. Hopefully tomorrow it will be ok to put back up for the birds around here to be able to eat from it. I am not a fan of winter ready for it to be nice out again so I can get back to work on my yard.

Hi Days, I am closer to Columbus, in Marysville. We have been getting most of our snow off of Lake Michigan this year.

I know where Marysville is at. Have traveled that way a few times on my way to Columbus. Nice area there. I live in a small town with mostly farm land around. However, I am not much of a gardener yet still learning some tricks to help me for this coming summer.
