Category: Daily life. | Posted: Sat May 20, 2006 1:05 pm There has been quite a bit going on since I was here last. They finished up the remodeling and I will post some more pics, once my wife figures out what color to paint the walls and they get painted. Went for a walk in the yard this morning and snapped a few pics. This is my climatis. Some of our Woodland Columbine. Regular Columbine And our Honey Locust trees are beginning to bloom. Another few days, once the bloom is open fully the air will be really sweet smelling and will be humming with bees. Too bad they only last a couple of weeks. We have about 50 of these in the yard. Thanks for posting Capt. At first I thought that the Honey Locust tree photos contained vivid bright blue blooms that looked amazing but then I realised it was just a vivid bright blue sky behind the tree. Silly me.
Lovely photos Capt. Thanks for posting!! I think my clematis is the same as yours, but yours is much better than mine!
I would love to have Clementis they are so pretty Your blue ones are so vivid in color.I was hunting them and was told they didn't do good here in Texas. Jubabe has some and they do ok.I'm
Climatis are very picky plants. They want hot heads and cold feet. The top of this is in sun all afternoon, but the roots are shaded. After I planted it, I put weed barrier around it, then some course gravel and then rocks to shade the base of it. Also it is about 10 years old. Login or register to leave a comment. |
