Oct. 16th - garden work.
Category: Daily life. | Posted: Sun Oct 16, 2005 5:00 pm Today is cool and windy with a north wind which makes it seem cooler than it already is. Did some raking and gathering up in the yard, since the tomato's are done for the year, I picked the last of them that had any size to them and brought them in on the back porch. Pulled the vines and they were all about dead. Raked up two trailer loads of walnuts and got rid of them. The squirrels just aren't keeping up with them. This is the most walnuts we have ever had. And most of them were huge. About the size of a tennis ball with their husks on. So now I am tired and feel a nap attack coming on! This blog entry has been viewed 43 times
