Was out in the yard doing some fall cleanup, putting away the last of the summer items. Took some pics from around the Ol Homstead.
This pic is of the same Sugar Maple that was in the Oct 27 blog. I wanted to show how much the leaves are changing.

This is my small woodshed. It's near the house and where I get my firewood when it's needed. I built it myself with some modifications from an article about an Irish garden house.

Here is a view of the inside of it! See all of that glorious heat just waiting in there? The bags contain scraps of wood from my workshop.

This is my big woodshed the rows of wood are 8 ft long and 5 ft high and I have 4 1/2 rows now. Will put another row and 1/2 in on Thurs. and Friday and then I will be done!

This is my workhorse. It's 18 1/2 horse power. The trailer if a 17 cu. ft. capacity and does all the fire wood hauling and garden trash hauling for me. Once I am done mowing for the year, I will mount a snowblower on the front of it that is 45 inches wide. One trip out my lane and back and it's clear of snow.

The maple tree has changed quite a bit in the space of a week. Looks nice against the blue sky.

That's a whole stack of heat alright Capt. It should be more than enough I guess.

By the way have you got attached to your workhorse, given it a name yet?

Only when it gives me problems! I loveingly call it, that Damned tractor! It's 12 years old so I have to coddle it along every once in a while.
