Dante meets Atlas! (Pets)Our lovely little betta (Dante)seemed bored, so after a bit of research on suitable tank mates, we went and purchased a little clown pleco! We weren't sure how it was going to work out as bettas can be quite territorial. It's been two days though and our betta just loves the pleco! There was no flaring or nipping at all, and Dante just continually goes to check on the pleco (Atlas). Atlas is hiding in a cave most of the day and now Dante spends a lot more time toward the bottom of the tank checking him out. Dante is also very expressive, dancing and blowing bubbles when he's happy and quite obviously snubbing any attention when he's not. We are being rewarded with quite a happy, dancing fish now.:) Bonus pic of Lily! She's our 10 yr old tarantula currently living with my mom.

I had a betta fish named Leo a few years back, great little guy he was.
