Job going POOF

Today is Wednesday the 15th. The craft store chain I am working for is closing for good at the end of this week. I am torn in two directions. The first is that I am going to be unemployed soon, but second, I will have more time to devote to my plants. Its an odd feeling to know I will be home all the time soon.

Sometimes it's the best thing that could happen to you when your firm closes down. Hope you get some redundancy money though to see you through until you find something else. Meanwhile enjoy the time you have with your plants as I'm sure they'll benefit from the extra TLC.

The chain went bankrupt because of corporate hi-jinks.


Eileen,
No, they give no severance pay in a bankruptcy. Hubby can support us for a while :)
Want to try something new. Just have to decide which direction to go.
