Where it all takes place, aka my craft room
Category: My Crafty Side | Posted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 2:18 am I forgot I took these pictures a couple of months ago. The view from my room to the bookcase in the front part of the room.
I bought two large shelf sets made from old barn wood from an herb market that closed down a couple of years ago, this one holds my craft books and supplies for soap making, beading, some painting things, etc.
Bookcase filled with yarn and my spinning wheel which did NOT produce any of that yarn....still haven't taken the time to figure it out.
Half of the back wall, another old barn wood shelf I bought from the herb market. It holds the books I haven't read yet, my witch collection and my collection of dragons.
Rest of the back wall with small jewelers cabinet a friend gave me that holds all sorts of craft supplies that I painted is in front of what used to be an outside door.
My always cluttered craft table and a bookcase filled with fabric from my quilting days.

Wow, there's enough there to keep you busy through several lifetimes.
I wish I had a craft room.Mine is in my living room. Its the largest room in my house.I have one corner of it for my crafts and I also have lots in the other bedroom. One day I'll have it all in one room maybe.
Mine never seems to stay where I put it. It's everywhere you look. I really need to get it organized. I put it in a room and it just finds it's way back to the dining room table or the living room desk or where ever it decides it wants to be. I even tried putting it out in a shed. Didn't work! Just had to go further to get it back. I'm glad someone is more organized than I am. Dooley
Oh how I'd love to be in the middle of that room!! It's a wonderland of all things crafty and you could just put me in it and forget about me. I'd be more than happy to stay there.
Wow, just about anything could come out of a creative haven like that! So funny that you have stars everywhere, my middle name means "heavenly sky" so I have a star collection too, just recently took them out of my oil-studio to rearrange them. Interesting that someone painted your Ashford Traditional black! Ooo, and you even have a lazy kate, lucky gal! But, and I can't quite see your flyer assembly clearly, isn't the bobbi, on backwards? Here's a picture of how it should go http://www.woolery.com/Pages/ashwheelsfr.html
What a goldmine. Your craft room is much more organized then mine. My hubby is always saying finish a project and then start another. I have try to explain it doesn't work that way. It depends on if I want to paint, burn wood, carve, sew ect. lol Login or register to leave a comment. |
