Meeting possible son-in-law

Category: Welcome to my craft world | Posted: Fri May 02, 2008 3:45 pm

My daughter and her man are coming to see me this weekend. She has dated him since December and said she is as sure as she has ever been that he is the one. She is 32 and has never married. She said all along that when she marries, it will be one time only. I applaud her for that. Both of them have occasional part time jobs. And that is where they met. They are black jack dealers for a company that puts on parties for large corporations. His day time job is mortgage banker and she is a Forensic Biologist for Dallas County. Any hoo, they seem to be wonderfully happy and I am happy for them. I am anxious to meet him and hope he is anxious to meet her family; she has met his and they love her and can see that he is extremely happy.
Sounds like the real deal! Will update this story next week...

Oh, the suspense would kill me! I was fairly nervous when we were to meet our eldest daughter's chosen one, but it went very well. Good luck!

I hope he won't have the stereotype of the intimidating mother-in-law in his head. You're not that at all KG :)
