Grass Hasn't grown much this year

We haven't had much rain this year. The grass hasn't grown much. Some people's lawns are dead in places. We have cut our lawn fewer times this year than any year. We really need some rain.

Wish I could say the same for my garden here in Scotland. We've has so much rain that we're still cutting the lawn even although it's now October. Guess there's never really a happy medium is there?

wow, the only time our lawn isnt mowed once a week is when its too wet to mow it !!!
what I can't figure out is, why does global warming make wet ireland even wetter and make dry places even drier?

I only mowed once this year and that was to cut the weeds. We haven't had but about an inch of rain total. It all goes north and west of us. dooley
