The pond accross the street from us has been the home to a blue heron for quite some time now. We've just recently gotton some pictures of him.

The first is a bit blurry . .

You are so lucky to be able to get such close shots redrose. The are such huge birds and amazing to watch in flight. I see them fly past all the time but they are never close enough to photograph. Well done!
