Hotel Wellington
Category: Cranbrooks Lawn and Garden Ornaments | Posted: Tue May 30, 2006 12:00 pm This is a birdhouse i am working on right now . i got the idea from a old hotel from the city that i had been living in .it was called the Wellington hotel. it was built in the late 1800,s . this birdhouse is over 5 1/2 ft high and wide. it has about 90 apartments. the wood is 120 yr old reclaimed barn wood which almost ended up being burnt on the fire pit. Is this the hotel you modelled your bird house on by any chance?
Sorry the picture I tried to show you didn't work!!!
I was just going to ask whether it is modelled exactly on the Hotel Wellington? Either way it a 5-star bird house for sure!
Thank you Gardenstew. it,s not exactly the same . i added a few extra details and due to the size of the original i had to make this one a little smaller.
Cranbrook, that is a very nice looking bird house!! The birds will be living better than me!LOL! It's so great that you take the old wood and do such great things with it!! It would be a real shame for the wood to be burnt!!
Holy moley! How beautiful! I want one for my mom and one for me do you sell them??, Please??? please PM me for details. The arbors are spectacular!
